MORE CARS!!!

There has been a dearth of vehicles available on the main server. We get it. Some people are hoarding them (yes, we see you). We will be increasing the number of available vehicles on the server by 2 for each type every week from now until the race event. The day of the week and the reset that we update the numbers on will be randomized, but there will be 10 extra vehicles available every week.

After the raid event, we will be wiping all vehicles completely and resetting the numbers, although it is likely the total number will be higher than the current setting (8 per type of vehicle). My thought is 12 of each, but we're happy to hear thoughts from people on the server about it (post in the comments, send emails through the contact form, message googlyeyes#1746)

It is very likely we will have a pattern of resetting the vehicles every 3 months from now on on the front page server. Hoarding vehicles is not necessary, they do not make for efficient storage, and it isn't exactly playing nice to do it. DayZ is an open-ended game, and there is no win condition other than survival. The fun is in the work to build and find things. There are no prizes for having the most of something.
